“In April of 2017 I was fortunate to spend ten days exploring a small bit of Cuba, including Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad. The visual treats of Cuba are a given and I loved capturing the many colors and sights of this great country with my camera; but I also found the people of Cuba to be warm and welcoming. I learned so much in that short ten days and those people are in my thoughts now, knowing how distressed this wonderful country and its people have been during the last year. It’s a shame that more Americans cannot get there and see for themselves the richness that Cuba offers us. These images are a mere glimpse of the beauty that is Cuba.”
