Photographic artist Marcy Merrill works in the historic process of the Wet Plate Collodion, dating to the 1850’s. Merrill creates in a variety of alternative methods from her studio gallery in Tokeland, Washington. Marcy is known for her work using plastic and pinhole cameras as well as a variety of off beat and unusual techniques and is recognized by LightBox as the premier fine art photographer on the Pacific Northwest coast using alternative methods.
