“27 Mornings In Winter began as a short film, made to ward off those mid-winter blues by embracing each wet and gray day as an opportunity. As I was editing the film, I began to see unique moments within the dissolves of one scene to the next. In seeking to retain the contemplative nature of the film, I chose to render a selection of the resulting stills as hand-made palladium prints.” Douglas Ethridge
