TIFFANY ESTES – I’m a professional graphic designer and writer by trade, and enjoy most all visual arts, particularly modern design and black and white photography from any era.

I enrolled in my first darkroom class with Chuck Meyer in 2008, and discovered that getting the shot is only part of the picture, and what happens in the darkroom creates “the rest of the story.” I work in Photoshop as part of my professional work, but find the darkroom infinitely more challenging (and painstaking). No “undos” in the darkroom!

I joined LightBox in January 2010 and enjoy easy access to the darkroom, as well as the opportunity to learn from more advanced photographers.

I seem to have a soft spot for urban architecture and scenes that are worn, well loved, or forgotten. There’s always a story there.
