Fred Gerendasy
My primary photographic interests include nature, urban environments, and old things found in their natural settings. I am also drawn to subjects that feel unusual, mysterious, or quietly unexpected. My work falls into two broad, sometimes overlapping categories: images intended primarily for screen-based viewing, and images made as archival pigment prints. For me, the printed photograph remains the strongest and most enduring way to experience finished work. Only the images I feel are most fully realized are selected to become lasting prints.
