I'm drawn to the magic of alchemy and so have remained a traditional chemical photographer, but I individually hand paint each print in order to remove it from the normal conventions of continuous-tone photography and electronic images. My pieces are created as "multiples", which is a curator's term for a work of art that exists as a duplicated example, all of which are considered to be originals. So while a print may be part of an original signed, numbered Limited Edition Portfolio, it remains a unique example of my individual vision and serves to define my personal style.
