Natural Harmony
October 10 – November 11
Often, the land speaks for itself. A storm overtaking a mountain range. Vines reclaiming the decrepit remains of a forgotten building. The land endures, and in its enduring, it sings.
We invite you to submit a moment where the land sang its own song. We’re looking for images that capture the land’s persistence — its resilience and refusal to be silenced. We are especially interested in a modern, expansive views of “landscape” — whether that be nature’s intersection with humanity, untouched landscapes in a moment of change or motion, or enduring yet overlooked corners of the land.
This exhibition will show us that nature’s song does not go unnoticed, and that people, too, can add their voice to its refrain — through visual capture, but also through music, word, and performance. This exhibition will be accompanied by live performative art from musicians and writers, who’s performative pieces will echo and respond to the visual works on display.
