Neahkahnie Point
“Neahkahnie Point” is photograph looking south from a outcropping on the cliffs of Neahkahnie Mountain at the Oregon coast. It was shot with my home-made 4X5 pinhole camera. I scanned the film, digitally converted it to a positive image and printed on fine art paper.
My interest in photography began in the 1950’s watching my father develop and print snapshots from his Kodak Brownie. I progressed from snapshots through 35mm film and a home darkroom, to digital photography and inkjet printing. Currently I enjoy combining film and digital to make my images using my 4X5 pinhole camera as well as vintage plastic and medium format cameras.
