Being somewhat aware regarding our surroundings -- and usually rendered through art-- I lean more towards photography-- sincere attempts at making sense out of and/or discovering the 'beauty' inherent: from the under-rated snapshot to the editorial street capture & the abstract image as fine art to toy analog cameras & digital slrs; Motion picture film and video-stills as well. Having had photos/ art shown in galleries, cafes & homes throughout the Pacific NW (including Lightbox Photographic Gallery of Astoria, Newspace Center for Photography, the Portland Art Museum, Beulahland, the Lost & Found, urbansphere, The Waypost, Backspace Gallery, 100th Monkey Gallery, Art/ not Terminal Seattle, Caffe Vita Seattle & more..), I've published several collections and also donated images to the historic Friends of Pioneer Lone Fir Cemetery informational brochure, among other causes.. I'm also honored to have volunteered as a Still Photographer and Production Assistant on the very poignant, socially relevant documentary directed by the critically acclaimed Portland filmmaker Brian Lindstrom, "Alien Boy: the Life and Death of James Chasse". Thanks very much for looking.
