I am somewhat aware regarding our surroundings -- usually rendered through art-- and leaning more towards photography-- sincere attempts at making sense out of and/or discovering the beauty inherent: from the under-rated snapshot to the editorial street capture & the abstract image as fine art to toy analog cameras & digital slrs; Motion picture film and video -- plus mixed.media collage -- these collected works are just the tip of the iceberg. Having had photos & art shown in galleries and cafes throughout the Pacific NW (including Lightbox Photographic Gallery of Astoria, Newspace Center for Photography, the Portland Art Museum, Beulahland, the Lost & Found, urbansphere, The Waypost, Backspace Gallery, 100th Monkey Gallery, Art/ not Terminal Seattle, Caffe Vita Seattle & more..), I've published several collections and also donated images to the historic Friends of Pioneer Lone Fir Cemetery informational brochure, among other causes (see website for links). I'm honored to have volunteered as a Still Photographer and Production Assistant on the very poignant, socially relevant documentary directed by the critically acclaimed Portland filmmaker Brian Lindstrom, "Alien Boy: the Life and Death of James Chasse", and am currently completing my own independent documentary entitled "The Legend of FuTang" which will (hopefully) be screening in Portland very soon. Thanks very much for looking.
