Steve Blair – Nature Photographer - The texture, the shapes, the color - the beauty of nature, is all around us. Steve Blair is a nature photographer who has a unique ability to fill the camera frame with amazing scenes that we often miss or that we could not capture. An avid hiker, Steve takes us up the trails and around that last bend to see nature at its best. In the rain, through the fog or in the bright light of day, Steve often takes the path less traveled to find the beauty of nature in its purest form. His love of the outdoors shows in the images that he brings back to us from far off trails. In the teal blue of a creek, he recognizes an amazing display of color in the combination of leaves that have fallen from the surrounding trees. From a perch at the end of a high point he adjusts his camera with technical expertise and captures the perfect image of the glistening blue water framed by the delicate green foliage and a weathered tree limb. In a graveyard of old rusted trucks at the end of an old logging road, Steve captures the sunlight dancing on the faded hues of the equipment. Gazing at one of his images is the next best thing to being there. Steve’s time on the Oregon coast has yielded many images of its fascinating jagged cliffs and sandy beaches.
