Heather Frandsen - The women in my family are extremely artistic. I never thought of myself as an artistic person, though always had this restless feeling that craved to be fed. Photography found me after the birth of my son. Through my desire to document his life authentically, I began to find my voice as a photographer. Although I learned on a digital camera, film found its way to my art and I've never looked back. In my own life, photography is the medium I use to give life and voice to emotions, experiences, questions, and insights that ask to be explored.
